So yeah, um, we’ve got a website, there just isn’t much on it at the moment. Won’t be a particularly eventful weekend either as Rich has gone up to the Lake District with the intention I believe of getting thoroughly wrecked, and I’m actually quite clueless about what to do.
Anyway, the year kicked off this week with me and Rich diving across to Weymouth on Monday evening to go and see Adele at work and have a few pints - well, one shandy since I was driving, but anyway, it’s the thought that counts. The drive took a little longer than normal, since firstly for some strange reason I was sticking to the speed limits (strange or what!), and a diversion around Poole, meaning we got back around 1am, just in time to wake Ross up to give him the Ice Cream he’d text to demand since we were visiting the seaside - evidently oblivious to the fact he lives on the coast anyway.
Tuesay saw the arrival of Vince, for no doubt the first of many visits. I joined Rich and Vince for a bit of munch and a few games of pool down the pub, before ending up in the local for a couple of Bloody Mary’s - not quite sure where they went after but apparently there may have been a hangover Wednesday morning.
Wednesday afternoon ended up with Rich, Vince, Mark and yours truly going down Gunwharf for a spot of bowling - which, admittedly, I was immensely crap at to start, until for some reason changing to a pink ball made all the difference. Bit strange really. After finding out the average bowling pin weighs about 2lb 10oz we headed over to Vue to go see Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo which was all rather hilarious…
…and that really is a quick sum up of the first week… er, pubs, beers, pubs, beers… anyone noticing a trend?

Erm, you missed the driving out of the trend…. And you should know by now you can’t bowl after I thrashed you a while back….
